The Indie Games Uprising event never fails to highlight some of the best indie game gems that are more than worthy of your time and hard earned money. Entropy looks as though it is another one of those particularly beautifully shiny gems!

Sententia is the second game to come from the third Indie Games Uprising and it is the third game from Michael Hicks. You may have heard of Michael’s other Indie masterpiece: Honour In Vengeance 2, which was received very well critically and was an outstanding Indie title. We reviewed the game a while ago here.

You are Frank Mors, A man who wants to be known as a world famous archaeologist. Frank quickly realises most of the world’s major finds have already been discovered. The Mayans predicted the world would end 21st December 2012 and Frank is on hand to witness the end of days. This is where our journey into this game begins.

This is a recent release on the Xbox Live Indie Marketplace and should not be confused for 8 Ball Champion, the difference between the games is that this version is playable over Xbox Live – hence the ‘Live’ in the title, I like it when developers keep things simple.

The trial is very good, gives you the choice of three levels to try so you can see a few different things. I only needed to play the trial a couple of times before I was 80 Microsoft Points lighter, and it was money well spent.
