When you first look at Terraria you may think it looks very simple, and you would be right. When you start playing you are greeted by a very basic tutorial and then you are given a world to explore with little more than a pickaxe and a sword. You are given no instruction on what to do and in fact all you can do is fight the various enemies that spawn, dig holes and build small scale buildings.

It’s a rare occasion when the Wild West is the setting for a first person shooter. It’s strange that it is not used as a setting more as it is one of the best for creating a great atmosphere and a good gritty story. So hunting down the most wanted criminals of the Wild West with your six shoot revolver whiles the high noon sun is beaming down on you makes for a great game.

Telltale Games have released some new screenshots for there upcoming game based on Bill Willingham’s comic book series FABLES, The Wolf Among Us.

When we first heard about Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon we all thought it was a massive April Fool’s joke. However when achievement lists and box art leaked it all became real. Then we were told it would be a standalone downloadable game and would not require Far Cry 3 to play.

Alien Spidy plays a lot like a cross between Limbo and Trine 2. The dark and shadowy foreground of Limbo marries perfectly to the colourful and vibrant foregrounds similar to those of Trine 2. You must swing, jump, roll and crawl your away across obstacles, avoiding enemies and doing whatever it takes to traverse the environment and reach the end.

The Xbox 360 and PS3 do not have that many platforming games and they have even fewer good ones. Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams looks as though it could fill that niche gap in the market and please many platform genre fans.

The Call of Juarez Facebook page teased a new game was coming yesterday. Ubisoft has since confirmed this and that it will be called Call of Juarez: Gunslinger.
