Valhalla Knights 3 – JRPG or MMO?

Valhalla Knights 3 – JRPG or MMO?

Valhalla Knights 3 could be easily mistaking for an MMO. However it is a single player only JRPG, but most things about it make it feel like an MMO. The fact that it is more like an MMO then a JRPG hurts the game in the long run as the interesting premise and deep character advancement system that is in Valhalla Knights 3 has been stripped down so much that the game ends up being the another MMO.

Dragon’s Crown – Back to the Classics

Dragon’s Crown takes us back in time to the great side-scrolling beat-em-up classics like Streets of Rage and Golden Axe. The game has you going from left to right in normal side-scrolling fashion as one of the four strong characters that can consist of either knights, amazons, dwarves, elves, wizards or sorceresses. At the end of each level there will also be a boss that you will need to kill that will have a massive health bar going across the top of the screen.

Que Sera Sera: The Morality Of The Witcher 2

Que Sera Sera: The Morality Of The Witcher 2

The Witcher 2 does away with the simplified good versus evil, angelic heroes that have never made a mistake in their perfect lives and enemy bad guys that are portrayed as extremely evil, two dimensional characters that want to destroy the world for no reason and eat kittens… Nope, You will not find that sort of black and white, good versus evil here. What is good and what is evil? Did I just choose an evil Satan styled action when I slapped that priest across his bald, shiny head? Was the priest withholding important information that could save lives and did he deserve a slap across his baldilocks?

Arcania: Gothic 4 Review

Arcania: Gothic 4 Review

Arcania: Gothic 4 is as rare as mythril or adamantium to find, it’s taken me a while to lay may hands on it now. Mainly because Lovefilm pulled it from their listings but also several games companies I buy online from didn’t even stock it, and I could only find copies in amazon (for a hefty £50) price tag up until around last week (It is available with through XBLA but I never really download games as I could never trade them back in). It has since dropped quicker than the German Papiermark in value and it has returned to Lovefilm’s listings! I know it’s not a new game but it’ll have to do to tide me over till the end of this month.

You have my sword…..and my bow…….what!? He’s not having my axe I need it to kill things!
