4Gamers Playstation 4/Playstation Vita Headset Review

4Gamers Playstation 4/Playstation Vita Headset Review

The microphone ear bud that comes bundled with the Playstation 4 console is terrible. The sound feedback is erratic and the overall sound quality is poor. The actual comfort and fit is also poor as this feels like it was designed to fit into the rough cauliflower ears of a veteran boxer. This is why I purchased the 4Gamers officially licensed Ps4 headset, which is also compatible with the PS Vita.

NBA Live 14 – In the Net

NBA Live 14 – In the Net

The NBA Live series has had quite the tumultuous path over the last multiple years. After years of existence, the NBA Live series just seemed to disappear back in 2010 with the delay and eventual cancellation of NBA Elite 11, only a few weeks before the scheduled release.

Battlefield 4 – Online Madness

Battlefield 4 – Online Madness

The main contender against the arguably most popular franchise Call of Duty has to be Battlefield. Even though these two games are often compared closely with one another, they really aren’t that similar.

FIFA 14 – Cup Winners

FIFA 14 – Cup Winners

FIFA 14 is back and this time it takes the leap into the next generation of consoles. This may sound harsh, but this version of the game is the same game at the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions with one very noticeable difference; the visuals.

Madden 25 Review

Madden 25 Review

Since the days of NFL licensed electric football, people have been trying to replicate the pro game in their living rooms for ages. Back then people had to use their imagination quite a bit, but thankfully for today’s generation we can plop down on the couch and fire up our favourite video game consoles to do just that.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag – Aye Aye Captain

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag – Aye Aye Captain

The Assassin’s Creed franchise has had many instalments some better than others, but Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is Ubisoft’s most ambitious game yet. This game is a prequel, set in the early 1700’s, to last year’s Assassin’s Creed III which was set in the late 1700’s. Black Flag also does not feature the Desmond Miles, who has been the protagonist in the last four games, as well as this the game is based on pirates and take AC3’s navel combat and builds on it.

Valhalla Knights 3 – JRPG or MMO?

Valhalla Knights 3 – JRPG or MMO?

Valhalla Knights 3 could be easily mistaking for an MMO. However it is a single player only JRPG, but most things about it make it feel like an MMO. The fact that it is more like an MMO then a JRPG hurts the game in the long run as the interesting premise and deep character advancement system that is in Valhalla Knights 3 has been stripped down so much that the game ends up being the another MMO.

Dragon’s Crown – Back to the Classics

Dragon’s Crown – Back to the Classics

Dragon’s Crown takes us back in time to the great side-scrolling beat-em-up classics like Streets of Rage and Golden Axe. The game has you going from left to right in normal side-scrolling fashion as one of the four strong characters that can consist of either knights, amazons, dwarves, elves, wizards or sorceresses. At the end of each level there will also be a boss that you will need to kill that will have a massive health bar going across the top of the screen.
