King Arthur’s Gold Review: The (Sleepless) Nights of the Round Table
King Arthur’s Gold definitely has its ties with other games. The game works very much like a medieval Terraria in terms of the 2D Mario-esque camera and block-based game-play. Unlike Terraria, however, the game is based around team-based multiplayer wars, where everyone gets to lay siege to the opponents finely-crafted castles.

I’m sure many people out there are somewhat frightened by the prospect of Minecraft, a game which doesn’t just step backwards in the graphics race but practically get on a motorbike and rides off into the sunset in the direction we had just came. Some people (and I am not trying to offend here) can’t recognize the simplistic and creative beauty of Minecraft and therefore have shied away from the game. However, fear not. A new mod that you can implement into your game has risen from the mod community called the GLSL shaders mod which attempts to fix just that.
Minecraft And LEGO Together At Last
Minecraft and LEGO were meant to be together; Minecraft allows you to build almost anything you have the ambition to with Minecraft’s simple virtual blocks, and LEGO has been doing the same with its physical bricks since 1949. Minecraft is populated by ghasts, zombies, creepers and pigmen and anyone who has stepped on a LEGO brick barefoot knows that they too have their dangers – it would seem that a joint venture was inevitable.
New Year = New Games
2011 will go down in the history of video games as being one of the best years for great games. We have seen the likes of Uncharted 3, Gears Of War 3, Saints Row The Third and Battlefield 3 to name just a few. After the New Year 2012 celebrations have ended, the hangover is beginning to take hold of your body and make it do things to you involuntarily, relax and do not fret for you have many more great games to look forward to for 2012.
